Middle school students and faculty have fallen victims to the Twilight “epidemic” at Busbee Creative Arts Academy in Cayce. This is tangible proof that reluctant readers can be motivated by the right book. It has been said that there really are no reluctant readers, just those who have not discovered the right book yet. Busbee Middle School has apparently found that book.

          Vampires, werewolves, edge-of-your-seat suspense, and a self-sacrificing eternal love are only a few of the reasons why middle schoolers have been smitten (or bitten) by this hot new young adult novel. It is mesmerizing!

Be involved with PTSO! The second Tuesday of every month is typically the PTSO monthly meeting with the principal at 5:30 p.m. All parents and teachers are invited to attend. The meeting is held in the parent center to left when you enter the school. Please come.
